Depart from Heathrow or your preferred airport for a scheduled flight to Beijing.

2 Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are greeted at the airport by our English speaking
guide and transferred to hotel by private transport. The rest of the day is at
your leisure to recover from jetlag and get ready for the adventure to come! (China

3 Beijing
A full day city tour to soak up the atmosphere of Beijing. This includes visiting
historical sites such as Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City.
A Hutong tour to visit old residential area and local people's life on
Rickshaw ride. (includes:

Day
4 Beijing
The highlights of today's tour include a visit to the Great Wall, the only
man-made wonder on earth visible from the moon. Visit the Temple of Heaven.
Board the train to Xian. (Includes:

5 Xian
As
an ancient capital of China for many dynasties, Xian has a lot historical sites
to offer. We will take a city tour including Xian's well preserved Ancient
City Walls, built in the early Ming Dynasty (about 600 years ago) and the
historic Bell Tower where you can overlook the entire city. You
will also visit the luxury underground palace of Emperor Qinshihuang, The Archaeological
Museum of 6,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors and their horses. The warriors were
the after life protectors the first emperor who united China (221BC-206BC). Following
this we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built as a Buddhist Monastery
during the Tang Dynasty. (Includes:

6 Xian
to
Chengdu
Transfer
to airport for flight to Chengdu. Visit the Chengdu Giant Panda Research and Breeding
Base. (Includes:

7 Chengdu
to Leshan
Car travel to Leshan and visit the Giant Buddha statue.
Then take a cruise along the river. (Includes:

8 Leshan to Mt Ermei
We travel to Mount Emei and tour the
sacred Mountain by taking a cable car up the mountain. Enjoy a vegetarian lunch
with the monks and take a short hike down a forest trail. (Includes: Breakfast,

9 Chengdu
Travel back to Chengdu. Free day.

10 Chengdu to Lhasa
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel

Visit Jokhang Temple on the Barkhor circuit and visit the Potala Palace.

12 Lhasa
Visit
the Sera and Drepung monasteries. Visit Lhasa 's Tibetan Quarter and treasures
of the Museum before taking in the views over Lhasa Valley from a hilltop in Pawang

Transfer

try to arrange direct flight when possible. We can also provide land-only tours
if you prefer to organise your own flights and save airmiles. Other
